Yes, if you have a weekend wristband, you can exit and re-enter the premises at any time. All you need to do is show your weekend wristband at the entrance when you return to the premises.
If you have a day ticket and wish to leave the premises, you can ask volunteers at the entrance for a stamp before you depart. This stamp will grant you permission to re-enter the premises later in the day. Make sure to have the stamp visible when you return to the event.
The opening hours for Saturday are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The opening hours for Sunday are from 10 am to 7 pm.
VIP Elf ticket holders and Fast Elf ticket holders can not only enter through a special fast entrance gate, but can enter on both days from 9:30 in the morning.
There are no time slots.
We have decided not to apply time locks from April 2022.
Everyone visits Elfia as he or she wants. Dressed up or not dressed up, it doesn’t matter. But it obviously improves the atmosphere when visitors come in costume.
We request that you accept and respect the House Rules and Visiting Conditions of the location. You enter the location at your own risk. Liability for damage that you incur during your stay at the location is excluded by the organization of the location.
There is an ATM on site.
However, we also recommend that you bring enough cash with you to avoid long queues.
At Elfia, the toilets have been free since 2023 and have also become gender-neutral. This means that there is no longer a distinction between ladies’ and men’s toilets. As a result, the toilets are accessible to everyone. Despite the visitor limit, the total number of toilets has been significantly increased to meet the demand.
Our toilets are regularly cleaned by a dedicated team responsible for this task.
Yes, it is possible to securely store your belongings during Elfia. We offer lockers that you can find near the entrance. These lockers come in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. The small and medium lockers are equipped with a convenient USB connection, allowing you to charge your mobile devices, for example.
Since the lockers are very popular, we recommend reserving a locker in advance. They tend to fill up quickly!
To reserve a locker, click here..
On the Friday before the event, at 18:00 hours, you will receive a code to open your locker. Please make sure not to leave any belongings in the locker, as the access code changes the next day, and you won’t be able to retrieve your items left behind.
Dogs are not allowed on all parts of the site (this is indicated by signs), but they are allowed on the site, provided they are kept on a lead. Other large animals (such as horses) are only allowed in consultation with the organization that grants written permission for this. All other animals such as birds of prey and pets (ferrets, etc.) are not allowed. In particular, the municipalities of Utrecht and Venlo strictly enforce the taking of animals that cannot be regarded as pets.
It is not allowed to bring your own food and drinks onto the premises. We don’t mind a few sandwiches, a snack or two, and a water bottle. However, the Customs may reject large quantities of food. It is not intended for whole picnic baskets with multi-course dinners or second & third breakfasts to be brought along. (Sorry, hobbits!) You are also not allowed to bring alcohol onto the premises, but it can be ordered at the various bars.
Fortunately, there are many different caterers on the premises! For vegetarians, vegans, or those who want to eat gluten-free: check out our catering overview. There are also water points on the premises, marked on the map. You can also get drinking water from the tap at fixed toilet buildings.
The grounds of the Elfia are open to everyone, but there are restrictions for wheelchair users and the disabled because some parts are (more) difficult to access with a wheelchair. Disabled toilets are available on site.
The programming is not exactly the same. A number of program parts will only be shown on Saturday, some only on Sunday.

Please note: To use the disabled parking space, you also need a valid parking ticket.
Parking tickets are sold per day, the tickets are valid only once and also only valid for normal passenger cars or small vans up to 5 meters long; it is expressly not allowed to park with campers and caravans in the parking areas.
