Celtic Folk Music
Two thousand years ago the Celts were driven off of mainland Europe. All Celts? No, one band bravely resisted the influx of modern pop and rock and found their own place in the world of music. Armed with nothing but their voices and instruments, Rapalje is raiding clubs and halls far and wide, looking for victims to carry away on a musical journey through Scottish Higlands, Irish valleys, taverns and inns. Ground shaking jigs and reels, delicate ballads and a whiff of heavy metal provide you with the perfect opportunity to not care about every day life. Ladies and gentlemen, let’s dance…
Uncle Bard&the Dirty Bastards
The first and main Irish Folk/Rock band from Italy!
Formed in 2007, the Dirty Bastards play folk rock, spiced with pure traditional Irish music. Uilleann pipes, tenor banjo, mandolin and Irish flute: there are few other bands in the rock scene that can compete against the Bastards in terms of deep knowledge of pure Irish traditional music and Irish culture and society. As written in a review of the latest album, “Uncle Bard & The Dirty Bastards don’t pretend to be Irish. […] They show” great gratitude and all respect for Irish music and culture. “They are really the adopted ones sons of Ireland and have brought a new breeze for the European Celtic punk / rock scene. “During the last three years, supporting the releases of” Get The Folk Out! “And then” Handmade “, the band has played more than 400 performances in all of Europe. Due to great success on the last Elfia Haarzuilens, the audience went crazy, they came back to play with Elfia Arcen. For more information, check the official website at: www.dirtybastards.it

beautiful chaotic instrumental music from 'Down Under'
“Nowadays, a purely instumental band like Kallidad, which manages to get their audience moving and dancing like this, has become almost a rarity. Their energy and fingerpicking talents are unsurpassably good and there are few bands that would be better suited as a headliner opener. “- The Music Kallidad are on tour all the time. Whether in Australia or other parts of the world, they manage to captivate their audiences with their energetic, beautifully chaotic instrumental music. Pulling from club shows to mainstream festivals, at free and outdoor festivals or remote indie events, the trio defends its international reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting music exports year-round. With their mysterious face paintings and the fusion of dynamic Spanish guitar riffs and wild box drumming, the three Amigos of Latin American music give their personal touch. This combination triggers the addictive potential of their fans and makes them repeaters and loyal concertgoers. The visitors of their unique live shows are stimulated to joyfully exuberant dance and leave their concerts often with tired legs and aching cheekbones. Although the band is constantly touring in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Japan and Indonesian, they have already released four albums. The 2017 album “The Odyssey” is even accompanied by a record and a book documenting her journey. The trio, which travels most of the year, still has its base in Sydney. Here the band members met during high school and became close friends before they founded the band in 2012 on Bondi Beach.

Based in York UK, Rachel Croft is an independent musician and songwriter, combining rich, complex vocals over rhythmic fingerpicked guitar. Instrumental Celtic music
Parsley brings the most beautiful instrumental Celtic music for you to enjoy. Marieke Lesparre (Celtic harp), Hans Elzinga (guitar) and Maaike de Waal (flutes and whistles) play Irish and Scottish tunes (and incidentally a Swedish one) from their new CD ‘The Stray-away Child’ that was released in December 2018.
Parsley combines these tunes with other traditional and more recent Celtic compositions, that all tell about life, love, and losses. Allow yourself some mindful moments of happiness to enjoy Parsley’s dreamy, relaxing slow airs and to indulge in some dancing when more lively dance tunes come by as well.
From exciting Irish tunes to narrative ballads
This versatile Celtic music duo is known for its fast Irish and Scottish tunes and narrative ballads. They play on all kinds of traditional instruments from the Irish and Scottish tradition such as the accordion, concertina, bouzouki, harmonica, guitar, whistle and bodhrán.

The black captain of ‘de Bokkenrijders’
In the 18th century there was a gang of robbers active in the Limburg part of the Netherlands but also in Belgian Limburg.
Their means of transport were goats with red eyes, with which they flew through the air.
This gang also had a mysterious leader, the black captain.
Even the members of the gang did not know exactly who this man was.
This black captain can be seen as a living image on ELfia Arcen 2019, accompanied by his red eyed goat.

Sanna van Bentveld
A powerful opportunity, back in balance!
During a healing, I make contact with the body through the laying on of hands and I feel on all kinds of layers where the energy flows or is blocked. Stress, sadness and pain can cause the energy in the body to no longer flow properly, causing blockages. A healing can help with fatigue, headache, back pain, sleeping problems, burnout and promote your overall well-being. During the treatment it becomes clear what you need and can handle at that time. Through stroking movements I remove what does not belong in the body and the aura. Cleaning and cleaning (special shamanic blowing) creates more space. I work with light energy, which releases blockages in the right vibration and intensity. Often it gives lightness, the self-healing capacity is activated. This leads to inner strength! I notice that people start to shine again after the treatment and experience more peace. Even without detectable physical complaints I can work with you on insights and awareness of body and mind. Important for peo le with serious physical complaints is the realization that a healer is not a healer of serious illnesses, but can guide them in dealing with the symptoms and possibly relieve pain.
For a reading I open myself up and make contact with angels / guides where I get messages about what is going on in your life at that moment. These messages work in the form of words, sentences and images that I put on paper. In this way the total picture of body and mind becomes complete. This gives the meaning of your life path more room. It provides insight into your specific question or problem.
Mindfulness for children:
Mindfulness is being aware. Life is often busy and rushed nowadays. We all need a lot of ourselves. Right now children benefit from a moment of rest and reflect on themselves. The same applies to adults. You learn to focus on something and you become aware of what you feel. You practice listening to this and taking good care of yourself and your environment. Mindfulness can be practiced in different ways, I teach classes at primary school. We start with relaxation exercises, then some awareness exercises and then a short guided meditation with the use of singing bowls, tingsha, koshi and rainsticks. You see that the children are calmer, more present. There is less anger and aggressiveness. It can give children more intense enjoyment and support in small and large storms, in their body, in their environment and in their thoughts. The great thing about mindfulness is that you can apply it yourself at home. y practicing it more often you learn to be open and to accept yourself as you are and to accept life as it is with a friendly attitude.
Saturday & Sunday:
Mindfulness workshop at: 11.00 and 15.00
