Pyrolysis is a young and energetic acoustic folk band. Although their self-written songs mostly nod to Celtic folk music, full-force punk, gypsy and pirate influences can also be clearly heard. Five young musicians brimming with enthusiasm, armed with bouzouki, accordion, bodhrán, fiddle and bass, play a rock-solid, energetic, but still intimate and convivial performance that takes the audience to a place where one can forget all worries. Aylin Lab, which is also the name of her workshop, has been cosplaying for about ten years and for the past four years, she’s been a professional artisan, specializing in creating costumes themed around movies and video games. Experimenting with various materials is something she really loves, from rubbers and resins to natural materials like wood and straw, she is also an expert in using classic cosplay materials such as Foam, Forex, Worbla, and frequently employ 3D printing. In 2017, she won the Italian National Championship and participated in prestigious competitions like the ICL in Madrid and the TOC in Vienna.

The Trouble Notes is a progressive world folk trio. Known for their explosive energy and worldly melodies, the band was formed in 2013 by violinist Bennet Cerven. Since then, they have been well-known on the international world folk scene. The core of the band comes from three different continents: American violinist Bennet Cerven, German guitarist Florian Eisenschmidt and Australian drummer Julian Lardis. Their shows are full of surprises and are known for international guest artists. They contribute to the energetic worldly sounds at the heart of their repertoire. They have toured extensively in Europe and North America, performed on television in the US, Europe, Japan and Brazil, played on many of Europe’s major festival stages and with major international acts such as Jethro Tull, Rodrigo y Gabriela and America.

Yuji is a cosplayer, model and crafter known as Yuji Koi Cosplayer. Originally from Vietnam she is now based in Switzerland. Since 2014, she started to get into cosplay stage performance and has been attending many cosplay competitions, from which she achieved many prizes (World cosplay summit 2017 Vietnamese representative, 1st prize Dubai Comic-Con anime category, 1st prize Best Coser of the Year in Vietnam 3 years in a row 2014-2015-2016, ECG Swiss solo representative 2023, etc).

Well known for the ability to bring many popular characters to life as well as her dedication when it comes to cosplay acting, she could travel around the world to conventions as a guest and jury for well-known international cosplay competitions, such as ECG preliminaries and WCS prelims and final. On the side, she also had the opportunities to work with companies like Riot Games, HoYoVerse, Sharkmob, Tencent, Vinagame and Com2uS.

Through time, cosplay and streaming is gradually becoming her full time job. At the moment, she is constantly holding workshops and panels to share her own knowledge and experience about cosplay make up as well as cosplay acting to inspire more people to get into competitive cosplay performing.

Irdorath is a project from Belarus, which creates its own musical world: noble andwild, dark and exciting, filled with Slavic legends, echoes of the Middle Ages and folkmusic of different nations. Their performance is made up of equally strong music and visualappearance. The sound is based on aggressive medieval bagpipes, a powerful drumset mixed with groovy electronics, the specific voice of a hurdy gurdy, the sound ofcello and bouzouki, as well as memorable vocals.

Irdorath is an professional experienced team, capable to rock big festivals maintaining a powerful sound of acoustic instruments. There are so many shades inthe music of Irdorath that the band fits perfectly in medieval, metal, gothic, fantasy, ethno and world music festivals. For example: Irdorath became the first Belarusians who performed at the “Wacken Open Air” (the largest metal fest). They also performed at such diverse festivals like “Wave GotikTreffen” (the largest gothic fest), Mittelalterlich Phantasie Spectaculum (the largest medieval fantasy fest), Folkest(Italian’s famous folk fest) and Castle Kolpa (large Slovenian music fest).

Tales of Nebelheym is a band that was founded in the year 569 NE on the wrecked ship “Maelstorm”.

A mysterious plague killed almost all of the crew and passengers on the voyage. The only survivors were seven people who came from very different regions of Nebelheym. Hardly any of them had any strong seafaring skills or were able to demonstrate them. For this reason, they decided to roll the dice to decide who would take on which position on board. As the journey continued, it quickly became clear that they all had two things in common: They love music and they have something to hide. Because none of them introduced themselves to the others by their real names. Each decided to keep their real identity secret and pretend to be a character they knew from the history of their homeland. They then formed a band to bring the many stories to people in musical form.

Ayuru is a Spanish cosplayer and artist who started in the hobby around 2012 with the main goal of having fun. With time, she developed a more professional profile, focusing on sewing, characterization and photography. She is also very interested in the social part of cosplay, and the amazing creativity that this hobby allows to explore in different fields.

She was the Spanish representative for Tokyo Game Show 2017 and winner of Clara Cow’s Cosplay Cup 2018, and has been ambassador for brands such as Riot Games, Blizzard, Bernina and Bandai. Additionally, she has a great experience being guest and judge in different international competitions, having judged several semifinals of ICL, C4, ECG and Eurocosplay in different countries.

She’s also an artist and illustrator, and enjoys sharing her drawing process in livestreams and social media.

Thundercrow is a musical art project, based on the (sliding-) didgeridoo and bass-clarinet.

Is your soul ready for the Soul Slinger?

Our court scientist Micha-elo Da Vinci devised the Soul Slinger; a module that simulates a kind of weightlessness. You spin freely in space 360 degrees in all directions and get the feeling of being detached from gravity. Anyone who enters this device is strapped to the Soul Slinger with their feet and can influence the direction and speed of rotation themselves by shifting their weight.

However, you should be warned. During a test, a young man’s soul was ejected from his body, turning him into a kind of hapless zombie. As you can see from the picture, Micha-elo did everything possible to prevent the soul from leaving the body, but the forces of the 11th dimension seemed too strong, probably due to the extremely low weight of the young man’s soul in question.

The Jugglers and Flowartists of “Elements of Fire” from Hannover are performing spectacular
Fire- and Lightshows since 2009. Their fireshows build a magical atmosphere, which leaves
their audience in awe. Flaming choreographies and impressive light-effects create a world full
of adventure and magic. Rains of Fireflies and flaming stunts will be presented, as they put
up a flaming pirate show for the kingdom of Elfia.

With their innovative light- and sound show “Elements of Fire” are creating new worlds of
imagination exclusively in the Giostra Fortunia. By creatively using the Medium of sound
and light together, a new playful act was created, in which the Captain and the Mermane (Not
mermaid!) will set sails and take you out to sea.

So that you have 2 hands free again and can fully enjoy everything Elfia has to offer. This time we will even be reinforced by two artists in the field of grimace and make-up, so if you need a little touch-up, tint here, tint there, come on over!

Come and explore the Old Japan of the Samurai and see how trained fighters handle the samurai sword (katana), the spear (naginata), and the longbow (yumi) at the Samurai Events camp. And you too can take a brief training session with practice weapons at certain times for free (please inquire and register in advance at the camp – only if it is not raining).

The geisha and oiran will showcase traditional parlor games, serve tea, dance, and at noon, you can witness them dressing in intricately embroidered kimonos in various steps. The special Japanese drums (taiko) will be heard regularly in the camp, and you can also try out the drumsticks at programmed times in a free workshop.

And of course, the knights will regularly explore Elfia in armor… and you can come to the camp to view their displayed armor and ask for explanations about it.

Super Ale, little phenomenon of magic at just 9 years old he is already a professional magician, illusionist and mentalist. He has an innate talent for hand shadows and he knows how to divinely create a show that always excites the audience. Sweet, determined and talented, he will enchant you with his shadow performances!

Wim Didgeridoo welcomes you to a earthly didgeridoo sound healing.  Wim is giving sound
healings for a very long time and also gevestigd lessons to learn to play the didgeridoo
yourself.  Listen tot he Earth sounds and let the magic sparkel.

Tim Talesman tells his stories on multiple festivals and other events. As an awarded storyteller he has specialized himself in the old Norse and Germanic myths and saga’s. But Celtics stories are being told as well. He distinguishes himself by creating a bridge in his stories to modern situations. Awarded with the title of “young storyteller of the year” Tim Taleman has made it his goal to collect as many stories as possible and pass them on in his travels His creative approach to the traditional stories makes these antique stories relevant for today’s audience.
