Nordic Cosplay Championship
Elfia has joined the NCC!
One finalist will be selected during the Costume Parade in Arcen and given the task to represent the Netherlands in the NCC 2025!
The NCC quest is clear: make the best cosplay show. Ever!
VIP treatment for all contestants.
For the NCC, this is a no-brainer. We provide free entry, lodgings, travel and food as well as a personal assistant during the event. Giving VIP treatment to all of our contestants is very important and the first step to ensuring that everyone who competes in the NCC feels treated like royalty.
A truly desirable first prize.
Besides the great honor of becoming the Nordic Cosplay Champion, it is important to us that the winner is properly rewarded. Since Japan has played a large role in the popularization of cosplay, and also hosts the World Cosplay Summit, the price will be a week-long trip for two to Japan at their leisure.
Honoring the runner-ups.
The NCC does not forget those who qualified but did not win. Making it to the finals is a great accomplishment and something to be remembered for. The runner-ups for the NCC also get prizes and will be honored together with the winners on the NCC Winners page.
A show to remember.
When you attend as an official NCC contestant, the organization makes sure you feel like it. The backstage area is equipped with mirrors, snacks and helpful service personnel.
The NCC dedicates at least a full day for the NCC complete with prejudging, rehearsals, photo shoots and the main show. During your performance, you decide on the stage lighting and the team will even create a LED backdrop with custom graphics based on your instructions.
Making sure the right cosplayer wins.
This is by far the hardest task. By inviting only seasoned, experienced judges from the participating countries to the NCC panel, and often a guest judge from another country as well, the team makes sure that a fair result is reached.
Always listening and always improving.
Every idea the NCC gets, will be run by established cosplayers to make sure that it’s a good one.
The NCC cherishes every piece of feedback and critique received. Why? Because they know that it will make the NCC a better show. Maybe even the best cosplay show, ever.
Ready for a new magical adventure?
