FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR ELFIA VOLUNTEERS

Can I stay overnight on Elfia?
Yes, there is a volunteer camping ground on Elfia where you can pitch your tent.

Do I get compensation for Elfia?
Elfia provides food and drink for all volunteers. Volunteers with the following functions get compensation:

  1. Volunteers who work during the construction week
  2. Volunteers who work during the dismantling week
  3. Volunteers who have managerial responsibilities during the festival weekend.

What kind of clothes should I wear?
During the construction and dismantling week, you are wearing easy-to-wear clothes and preferably safety shoes. During the festival itself, everyone wears a red and yellow tabard with a belt over their clothes. The Location Managers and Parking elfs wear a tabard on the Thursday and Friday before the event as well, because they are in direct contact with the exhibitors and entertainers. The only exceptions are office employees, who wear an Elfia jacket.

Is there transportation arranged for us?
No, you can come by car or public transport. On the Elfia Crew Facebook page, volunteers can offer to carpool with each other.

Can I leave my valuables somewhere?
Elfia is not responsible for the safety of your valuables. We advise you to only take necessary items with you to the event, and to keep any valuables on your person, or in your tent/car.
