Samurai Events

Come and explore the Old Japan of the Samurai and see how trained fighters handle the samurai sword (katana), the spear (naginata), and the longbow (yumi) at the Samurai Events camp. And you too can take a brief training session with practice weapons at certain times for free (please inquire and register in advance at the camp – only if it is not raining).

The geisha and oiran will showcase traditional parlor games, serve tea, dance, and at noon, you can witness them dressing in intricately embroidered kimonos in various steps. The special Japanese drums (taiko) will be heard regularly in the camp, and you can also try out the drumsticks at programmed times in a free workshop.

And of course, the knights will regularly explore Elfia in armor… and you can come to the camp to view their displayed armor and ask for explanations about it.
