Over the past 25 years, De Haar Castle has undergone extensive restorations and maintenance. Several more restorations are planned, including returning parts of the park to its original design from around 1900. Additionally, starting in 2026, the meadow used for event parking will no longer be available for visitor parking as mandated by Stichting Natuurmonumenten. While this will make the park even more beautiful, it also means it will no longer be suitable for all large-scale events, including Elfia.

The castle organization expressed that they will deeply miss the wonderful Elfia visitors with their stunning outfits, but they hope to make the 2025 edition the most magical Elfia ever. Meanwhile, the Elfia organization is actively searching for a new location in the BeNeLux or Germany to continue the Elfia tradition in the spring of 2026. Our September event will stay at the Castle Gardens of Arcen.

For now, Elfia will make their 25^th year anniversary’s edition the best it could possibly ever be. Tickets will be online tomorrow: Tuesday, September 24^th at 12PM.
